My Corner

In a perfect world, nothing would go wrong.
In a perfect world, fears that you once conquered stay conquered.
In a perfect world you wouldn't have to stress about tests coming up or how many units you need for a certain quarter or semester.
In a perfect world all of your friends would get along with each other the way you always imagined.
In a perfect world you would have the courage to do or say whatever you wanted without fear of consequence.
In a perfect world money doesn't matter and love lasts.
In a perfect world not a single voice would be raised in anger but merely to sing a song straight from the soul.
In a perfect world hearts stay in tact and minds stay in one piece.
In a perfect world a person can walk down the street of any neighborhood without having to worry about a crime being committed to them.
In a perfect world we wouldn't need rules because there would be no reason for them.
In a perfect world, here would be no need for scheduling or plans because planning ahead only leads to more stress.
In a perfect world there would be no violence. There would be no drugs or alcohol abused.
In a perfect world there would be no war and no need for a leader.
In a perfect world, there will be no need for second chances.
In a perfect world we would all be able to truly think for ourselves without influence of others. In a perfect we'll have no reason to hide in a corner away from the world.

It's just too bad for me that the only way for me to live in a perfect world is to close my eyes and hide in my corner. Then again, that may be the only way any us can truly get the life we crave. All we need to do is take a few seconds in life to hide in our corner, close our eyes, and live in our perfect world for just a little bit. We don't even have to open our eyes if we don't want to...because in a perfect world they'll already be open...

...and there'll be no need to dream about a perfect world.
